Furion is an amalgamation of several musical styles ranging from Metal, Hardcore, Rock, Jazz, Scratching and Electronica. This machine fuses the aggression of metal, the heart and soul of rock'n'roll and the technicality & musicianship of any of the prog giants of this world without ever straying from the essence of good music and playing for the song.
Forming at the tail end of 2008, the bands first proper gig saw them headline in London’s Leicester Square as well as other notable shows at London’s 229 Club, main support at Franz Ferdinand’s aftershow party at Brixton Jamm and being labelled as an ‘anomaly’ by Wicked Boy Promotions after being the biggest selling local act in Reading’s Facebar history.
2009 also saw the band shooting a video with renowned producer / director Steve Price (Razorlight, Metallica etc) for the song ‘Departure’ and the Exclusive airing of ‘Paranoia’ on Total Rock Radio following an interview with Feedme Music’s Ali Hodge. Hailing from the Bracknell / Reading area Furion will be looking to rock & pillage their way around the country and beyond throughout 2010
Furion's live show is a high energy bounce-fest that leaves the audience begging for more. They have a distinctive sound yet draw comparisons to Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Limp Bizkit and One Minute Silence.
